The Kuzbass Sorbents company has its own production of high-quality carbon molecular sieve sorbents and granular activated carbons for gas and water purification, used in the chemical, oil and gas, coke, energy, mining, metallurgical, transport and nuclear industries, housing and communal services sector. With the help of manufactured carbon molecular sieves, it is possible to obtain pure hydrogen (from synthesis gas, coke oven gas, coal gasification products), purify, concentrate, store and transport methane, extract nitrogen with a high degree of purity from the air, extract helium from natural gas, purify air from carbon dioxide, methane and other harmful compounds. The main goals of our company: Carrying out R&D and R&D, development of technologies for producing carbon nanoporous sorbents for separating gases from Kuzbass coals, organizing the production of products with a high level of quality using our own unique technologies, which will allow us to be competitive in the Russian and world markets; Expansion of the product range, development of new carbon materials - mesoporous materials for various purposes, activated carbons, new gas sorbents, carbon fibers and high-temperature pitches for composite materials. Sorbents Kuzbassa has a certified testing laboratory and analyzes various carbon materials (activated carbons, sorbents, zeolites) according to standard and proprietary methods for analyzing a full range of characteristics, in accordance with Russian GOST, European and American ASTM. Investigations of the composition, structural, sorption, kinetic properties of materials are carried out on an IR spectrometer, an electron microscope, EPR, NMR spectrometers, a porometer (thermodesorbomer), a helium pycnometer, as well as on a research installation for short-cycle heatless adsorption. Our company is a resident of the Skolkovo Innovation Center and cooperates with the leading institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the field of carbon materials, and also has foreign consultants and partners in the USA, Germany, Finland, Australia, Canada, Mongolia and Kazakhstan. Our employees are executors of the work of the Scientific Council on Adsorption of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the RFBR, the Federal Target Program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, OJSC Rusnano, the Fund for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere.
