The history of the company begins in 2002, when it was created in St. Petersburg and at first operates as a branch of OOO PP "Kizlyar" (Kizlyar). In 2007, Severnaya Korona received its own legal status and became an independent production, the main directions of which were designer weapons and artistic bladed weapons of small series. Members of the Union of Artists of Russia, graduates of the Art and Industrial Academy named after V.I. Stieglitz, the best gunsmiths. The first knife of the enterprise - "Gyurza", developed in St. Petersburg back in 2000, produced by OOO PP "Kizlyar", was awarded the Gold Medal of the US Chamber of Commerce in 2000. A really great success came to the company in 2004. At the IWA exhibition (one of the most prestigious international arms exhibitions), the Golden Mask knife composition takes first place in the Best Collectible Knife nomination. The members of the jury of the competition explained their decision by the fact that they had never seen anything like it in terms of beauty, originality of design and complexity of execution. Then the victorious procession of works by the company's masters begins, marked with diplomas and awards at exhibitions in Bern, Munich, Dortmund, Las Vegas, Orlando, Melbourne, etc. Since 2005, Severnaya Korona has been the official supplier of the Gift Fund of the President of the Russian Federation.
