Explosion-proof frequency converter station type ChPSV-500/1140-UKhLS is designed for stepless electrical control of the speed and torque of the belt conveyor drive and supplying power supply to the auxiliary devices of the station and conveyor in underground mine workings hazardous for gas (methane) and coal dust .
The station is designed to work together with various automatic control systems (Davis Derby, Promos, AUK, etc.). The station can operate in the “Local”, “Remote” and “Telecontrol” modes. The station has intrinsically safe control and signaling circuits; communication with the dispatcher is carried out via an explosion-proof fiber-optic communication line.

The equipment provides

  • stepless electrical control of speed and torque;
  • operational local and remote control of the electric drive;
  • mechanical and electrical interlocks;
  • control of auxiliary motors of the brake cooling circuit, motor drives and other auxiliary equipment;
  • electrical motor protection (in ANSI codes);
  • data transmission via RS-485 interface, ModBUS protocol;
  • connection to a fiber-optic communication line;
  • maintaining logs of emergency events.

  • relative ambient humidity up to 100% at a temperature of +35 degrees;
  • absence of sharp shocks and impacts;
  • dust content of the surrounding air is not more than 1000 mg/m3;
  • the working position in space is horizontal, deviation from the working position is allowed up to 15 degrees in any direction;
