The combined samovar “Olympic” (volume 35 l) was made as a gift to the Russian Olympic team in honor of the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014. When creating a sketch of the samovar, V.V. Volgin was inspired by the Russian winter: one of the main elements snowflake patterns became decor. In his project, the artist combined the symbols of the 1980 Olympics, held in Moscow, and the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
