Complete explosion-proof mine transformer substation type KTPVSH
Complete transformer substations of the KTPVSh type are designed for installation in underground mine workings. hazardous gases, methane and coal dust, for the purpose of powering three-phase current collectors. alternating current. frequency 50 Hz. as well as providing protection against leakage currents and maximum current protection of the low voltage line.
The substation is explosion-proof with intrinsically safe remote control circuits and has explosion protection marking P8 Exd[ia]ial. The shell design provides a degree of protection from external influences IP54 in accordance with GOST 14254-96.
The Elektromashina plant produces two main types of transformer substations, differing in design and circuit solutions.

Substations of the first type: RUVN of substations of the first type is equipped with an uncontrolled disconnector or load switch. There are three options for completing the RUVN:
- idle circuit disconnector with surge limiters and indication of the presence of voltage at the input;
- autogas load switch VNA with indication of the presence of voltage at the input;
- Vacuum load switch type VVNR.
RUNN of substations of the first type has two configuration options:
- with the possibility of local control and remote shutdown (PDO), equipped with standard PMZ or MT3-5 units. AZUR, BDU and automatic switch with manual cocking;
- with the possibility of telecontrol and data transmission via RS485. equipped with a microprocessor connection protection terminal type MTZP-1200 and AZUR.MK with a controlled vacuum circuit breaker BBA.
Substations of the second type: RUVN of substations of the second type is equipped with a controlled switching device (Rollarc contactor or BB/Tel vacuum circuit breaker with switching surge limiters) and microprocessor relay protection (Sepam T42 or MTZP-2). Since 2017, RUNN of substations of the second type has been equipped with a microprocessor terminal MTZP-1200. Triggering of LV protections leads to disconnection of the RUVN switching device.
The substation is equipped with a chassis consisting of a slide to which it is possible to attach
standard mine trolley ramps. It also has lifting and towing devices.
