Liquid carbon dioxide storage tanks RDC with a volume from 4 to 50 m3

RDKh tanks are designed for storing and dispensing low-temperature liquid and gaseous carbon dioxide into production lines.

RDH is a permanently installed horizontal vessel made of structural low-alloy steel 09G2S-9, covered with a thermal insulation layer of rigid polyurethane foam PPU-110, which has good thermal insulation and waterproofing properties that prevent moisture from passing to the surface of the vessel. The thermally insulated vessel is protected from ultraviolet rays and precipitation by a stainless steel casing.

The tank is equipped with:

1. For protection against overpressure

- two safety valves;

- two safety bursting discs;

2. For filling, carbon dioxide dispensing and drainage

- four ball valves DN32 made of stainless steel;

3. To measure the level and temperature of carbon dioxide in a vessel, calculate the relative filling of the tank, the mass of liquid and gaseous carbon dioxide

- magnetic float converter;

4. To control pressure

- two pressure gauges of accuracy class 1.5;

5. To control the level of liquid carbon dioxide

- a signaling device with sound and light signals when the maximum permissible level values are reached.

Safety valves and pressure gauges are mounted on one, and safety burst discs are installed on the second switching device, which allows checking the serviceability, correct adjustment, replacement and repair of safety devices and measuring instruments without stopping and emptying the tank.

*To maintain pressure in the carbon dioxide storage tank , an AGT 26F refrigeration system can be additionally installed, consisting of an evaporator located inside the vessel, a compressor-refrigeration unit and a control panel mounted on the tank frame and connecting pipelines.

The use of AGT 26F makes it possible to store carbon dioxide in the absence of its consumption without loss for an unlimited time. Equipment warranty is 24 months.
