MODE OF APPLICATION:
Before using, wash your new toothbrush in warm water and soap. During use, store the brush in a vertical position with the bristles facing up. For the best effect, use with SPLAT Professional whitening toothpastes and rinses.

Several studies have shown that silver nanoparticles work against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The result depends on several factors - size, shape, concentration, surface, charge, coating. Silver nanoparticles also showed positive results in multidrug-resistant strains.

Silver also showed antifungal activity. The researchers analyzed 44 strains from six different types of yeast and found that silver nanoparticles were able to effectively inhibit their growth. As with bacteria, silver can damage the fungal cell membrane and disrupt the natural budding process.
WHO has included silver sulfadiazine in the list of essential medicines, and recommends colloidal silver for drinking water purification.
